Concentric Reducer
Buttweld concentric reducer is also called welded concentric coupling. It allows from connecting a large pipe to a smaller pipe by means of welding. A concentric reducer allows welded connection between two pipes with the same center line.In concentric reducers the area reduction is concentric and the center line of the pipe on a bigger end and smaller end remains the same. Eccentric reducer is a fitting used in piping systems between two pipes of different diameters. The same fitting can be used in reverse as an eccentric increaser or expander. They are used where the diameter of the pipe on the upstream side of the fitting (i.e. where flow is coming from) is larger than the downstream side, and where there is a danger that vapor may accumulate. In Eccentric Reducer the reduction of the pipe size is achieved by decreasing the diameter of the fitting at a constant rate over a specified length, maintaining one side of the fitting horizontally.

How To Use Eccentric Reducer
To use an eccentric reducer, follow these steps:

Select the appropriate eccentric reducer: Choose an eccentric reducer that matches the size of the larger and smaller pipes.

Prepare the pipes: Cut the larger and smaller pipes to the desired length, ensuring that the ends are clean and free from any debris or burrs.
Install the eccentric reducer: Slide the eccentric reducer onto the larger pipe, ensuring that the flat side of the reducer is aligned with the top of the pipe.
The offset portion of the reducer should be positioned to allow for the desired flow direction.

Difference between flat welding flange and butt welding flangeWelding method
In the name we can clearly see the difference between the two: flat welding and butt welding. Specifically, the pipe diameter and wall thickness of the joint end of the flat welding flange are the same as the pipe to be welded, and they are welded together in a flat way. The butt welding flange is a recess with a slightly larger diameter than the outer diameter of the pipe. The pipe is inserted in the socket and then welded.
On materials
Compared with Ningbo butt-welded flanges, flat-welded flanges are simpler in structure, use less material, and have less rigidity and tightness than butt-welded flanges. Generally, it is mainly used in the connection of medium and low pressure vessels and pipelines.
3. Processing
The butt welding flange adopts a punching die to punch into a half-ring elbow or a casting mold to directly cast into a half-ring elbow, and then two half-ring elbows are welded in groups. The flat welding flange uses a gasket, which is a ring made of a material that can produce plastic deformation and has a certain strength.
